“The All Souls Procession is one of the most meaningful and inclusive events in our nation… What started out as an intimate personal expression is now an enormous hyper-creative vehicle for release and integration of grief and loss for many 10’s of thousands of individual participants.”

Here is a composite that I created of a group of images. Please feel free to leave a comment!

As I drove down the Pacific Coast Highway, the sun was setting quickly. I wanted a high point, something different than I had seen before. I found a residential street that led me to a dead end. At the dead end was an entrance to an ecological preserve. The area was a path that lead to the top of a small mountain in Laguna Beach. This was perfect. Out of the city in the wilderness, yet you could see the city. You could see the ocean. You could see everything. It was like being on top of the world. Here is an image that I created from this point. This was this evening.

I have been entering the Electronic Imaging competition for three years now. After three years I have earned enough merits to granted the degree of Master of Electronic Imaging. My first year entering I earned three merit prints and 2 of those that were published in the Loan Collection book. Last year I earned two more merits from the competition. This year I needed to earn 6 merits for the degree. With the following images, I received a merit on each of the 4 and two of them Iconic New York and The Aquarium, earned Loan Collection honors. This put me at the 6 that I needed. In January I will receive the degree in New Orleans, LA. This year I also earned the honors of Photographer of the Year and Electronic Imager of the Year. That is the first time that I have received both. Enjoy the images and leave a comment or ask a question.
